Medical assistance to foreign citizens is carried out in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 06.03.2013 No. 186 «On approval of the Rules for the provision of medical assistance to foreign citizens on the territory of the Russian Federation».

Foreign citizens who are insured in accordance with the Federal Law «On Compulsory Medical Insurance in the Russian Federation» are entitled to free medical care under compulsory medical insurance.

Foreign citizens who are not insured under compulsory medical insurance are provided with medical assistance in accordance with paid medical service agreements or voluntary medical insurance agreements.

To date, GP No. 3 is a multidisciplinary medical institution in the city of Astrakhan, which successfully provides both planned and emergency medical care to the population of the Sovetsky District (72 thousand people). Today, the hospital employs more than 545 people, of which about 300 people are medical staff. More than 130 doctors, more than 165 nurses and junior medical personnel take care of the health of Astrakhan residents and visitors. The polyclinic has three precinct outpatient departments, a day hospital department, and a children’s clinic.
